A PRECISION MATCHED VINTAGE QUAD of very nice, strong & early late 1950s era Telefunken diamond bottom (see beautiful photos of glass - exhibit E) factory 12AX7  / ECC83 tubes. These are all from the late 50's or early 1960's. They are beautiful examples of the very old 17mm tall, SMOOTH plates.  All 4 pieces test well MATCHED / BALANCED for GM & Plate Current readings on Calibrated Lab Tester at the full, fixed bias 250V.  Carefully stored spares, from HiFi estate, in  Telefunken boxes. The boxes are old and show many stains due to age (exhibit A, H). The early Telefunken tubes inside look beautiful and sound wondeful.

 Gourgeous Tele's. The flashing is beautiful & shinny, pins are straight. White Ink, clearly marked West Germany (exhibit A,E), a couple of tubes have partial ink, all have legible letters...  

The units are matched construction, TALL 17mm, top halo, and have diamonds in the glass on bottom (exhibit G) .

Likely the most throughly tested set now online ... anywhere ... and so throughly checked out & fussed over QUARTET, all made close times in the late 1950s era.
