All matched 4pcs, a QUAD set date 1954 thru apr, 1965... nice early units ... all from the very old days (at least 47 years old!) ... genuine WECO Bell System, from equipment that was never used (NOS). These NOS oil capacitors from Western Electric tube amplifier & preamplifiers, --- have absolutely beautiful letters and shinny original grey paint, so very old and rare these days! These 228A model 2uf caps are ultra rugged and overbuilt, with the similar construction and size as 4uf caps, like the 287A. Great looking, BEAUTIFUL paint (see exhibit B,C,D,E). Perfect for amplifiers, preamplifiers and crossovers. They have tested at FULL operating 400 volts on Sencore tester. All (4) WORKING great , thoroughly checked out and found to be PERFECT - no leaks, VERY low ESR, and 2uf capacity !
