What a nice & strong sounding tuner! Above most all else, HH Scott was known for designing great tube tuners. And this is a truly nice example of one from the mid 1960's -- a model LT-110B. Appears to be all original....I briefly tested this well built unit with only a very short dipole antenna, all of my FM stations are very FAR away ... most stations you're hearing are 60-to 70 miles ++... this tuner pulled in the several FM sources you hear with ease, great selectivity and imaged them well in stereo ... it seems to work fine (I did not test all functions or AGC), and it really sounded nice!! Please study all photos and watch the short video.
So, you can hear it's working & playing well on my bench ..... keep in mind this classic piece of HiFi is pushing 50 years old, so if considering, please know as with all old originals -- it may oneday need it's switches cleaned or a minor re-cap, tube or alignment at some point. My test was brief, and I was very impressed with the sound!
The cosmetics are NICE --- just a few minor flaws --- the only notable being weak letters on the top / rear of chassis and around the rotary dial. Both are truly normal cosmetic flaws given it's age ... see EXHIBIT B and C. This all tube tuner presents beautifully!
