A perrennial favorite of amongst experienced audiophiles. These are classic 1950/60's Telefunken ECC82/12au7 smooth plates. We have here a wonderful set, of old selected MATCHED NOS tubes. These are the early originals hailing from the mid 50s to mid 1960's. They're truly beautiful & the real McCoy. They have the early Tele 17mm tall SMOOTH plates. These were LAB SELECTED back in the 1960s for expensive equipment that never saw use. So, they're NOS and bear the RED TIP marks -- evidence that they were balanced for GM & Plate Current back then. They're testing as NOS on our multiple calibrated testers. (Photo A is a simple Dynamic Emissions display for easy reference -- also checked on full GM & Plate current measuring digital tester --- SO, these are very STRONG tubes --- all sides are in upwards of 120% ). On a calibrated on Lab Tester here at the full 250V ... this pair tested strong, NOS and Quiet to ear - no microphonics! (when checked in circuit ) The letters on this pair are all completly there, only a couple of missing characters, and that's all ! (see exhibits B,C,D) They are in truly almost perfect condition. Carefully stored many years in the included old brown boxes.

Old Tele's are always contendors amongst the best preamp tubes ever produced .. they have a solid place in the pantheon of long plate dual-triodes.
