Perfectly MATCHED QUAD of very nice, early 1960’s Mullard Blackburn factory 12AX7 / ECC83 tubes. These are all from 1961 - 1963, and are beautiful early examples of the 14mm variety. Tested strong and quiet on multiple testers. Quiet to ear - no microphonics! Matched well for GM and current draw on all sides.
These tubes have the quintessential British tone ... a very clear & sweet tone! Not at all like Telefunken. The musicality of early Gt. Britain produced tube audio is legendary ... These Blackburn produced mini dual triodes will bring that sound to your amp or preamp any day.
Study the large photos & reports below, and you can see they are genuine Mullard tubes. All are Etched Gt. Britain; they were ROGERS branded (early tone cabinets & hifi equipment maker with a presence in GB & Canada in the 50s/60s). They have etched, close or matching date codes....you just don't see a a near perfectly QUAD matched set of tubes like this very often, so they will sell quickly. They have the all of the Mullard Characteristics... flash at turn on, thick, smoked flashing and of course the cross seam glass tops.
These are strong, used tubes .. tons of life remaining, checked in amp and they sounded wonderful. They're guaranteed NO DOA, and your happiness with these is assured!!
